The Osprey Global Rechargeable Micro Thermal Optic delivers thermal imaging capability in an exceptionally compact, lightweight platform. Its 256 × 192 thermal sensor and 13mm F0.9 objective produce a responsive thermal image for identifying heat signatures in darkness, daylight and visually obstructed conditions.
A 1.6-inch display with 360 × 320 resolution provides a clear viewing screen, while up to 3× digital magnification allows closer observation. Five thermal palettes—White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Green Hot and Red Hot—make it possible to adjust the image presentation for different environments and viewing preferences.
The optic weighs only 0.22 pounds without a battery and offers two mounting options for added versatility. Two rechargeable 16280 batteries provide up to eight hours of stated runtime, while the 5V USB Type-C connection supports convenient charging. Its 1000G shock rating and operating range of -4°F to 122°F prepare it for demanding field conditions.
